Week 2 Jitters

Hello Gang,

Today will mark the start of week 2 [[Let's get it]]! I am so very proud of all that I have accomplished this week it was small steps but I am sure these steps are heading the right way! While I couldn't stick to a detox, I plan to try that again sometime in mid June. While Day 3 (Monday) was shaky for me, I made up for in the days that came.

What have I learn:

  • Salad- not so bad and can fill you up just like an order of Boneless ribs with Pork Fried Rice (yum yum)
  • The gym is not the enemy and perhaps becomes your best friend! You just have to find ways to make it work (like any relationship) - Today Friday after 4 straight days of doing somewhat intense workout my body was exhausted! I wasn't really beat to continue so instead I did power walk on the treadmill for 30 mins and I did some strength workouts for the stomach and the booty I hope to shape up! Tomorrow I don't plan on going on a full jog but rather walk maybe 2 miles with my dog and discover where we can get lost or not!
  • Mind over matter! You can't force your stomach and mind to be in sync but eventually they learn to listen to each other and become this one thing!
I am nervous for WEEK 2! Mainly because this is where my body either gets too comfortable and feels it's okay to eat because I am doing so great or because I feel like this is going no where so why not indulge on that yummy whatever....So I am fully aware that week 2 is the hardest and I plan to be very very careful not to OVER DO IT or UNDER DO IT!

I am not ready to weigh myself even though most people do a weekly or bi weekly weigh in....I am going to wait for May 30th! Yup a month and week (in which I hope to have lost 10-15 pounds)....I know that the number on the scale will mentally damage me. It will either make me feel like it's not good enough or make me feel like hey grab a soda your doing great! So I am just going with the flow doing it the right way and hoping to see some results end of the month!

This week I plan to try to eat under a certain amount of calories and I also plan to start drinking Special K protein shakes to replace some of my meals. Lets see how that goes

And lastly Kiddies, I PROMISED NAKED pics of me lol, so here they go!
Please note- This is hard for me to be so open but I know and feel like this might be the only way to do it! Don't mind the hair, I wasn't focusing on that really!




Flaws in my body I wanna work are: Of course my stomach it just has got to go! Do you see that belly! And my arms! I like my legs and thighs and my but can be bigger/nicer but I'll take this anytime over a flat muffin!
