Confidence is Shinining

So I brought a new bathing suit, as previously mentioned I got myself a string bikini....oooohhh riskyyyyyy....

Let's go back a bit....I have always been a beach bum, My roots are from a beautiful island so the beach is my friend, however it has always been a struggle to find something that I would feel comfortable in, one summer I was wearing shorts (the types you would wear to sleep) with a tank top and then to go into the water I would throw on a big shirt, one summer I wore plaided shorts with a matching tube top, and than last year I just wore whatever was short and can be wore to a beach without calling to much attention. I would look around at my friends and just wonder almost wish to be in there skin for the time being because they could wear a bathing suit and I just knew I'd look ridicules especially being next to my friends....some pictures to make the story even better [excuse the blurryness] I was very insecure in the beach, eventually you put it behind your mind and just enjoy your beach day but TRUTHFULLY it has always been a hassle

But yesterday, YESTERDAY WAS A NEW DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE!!!!! I left my house to Hurricane Harbor, I brought my bikini but I am not bikini body ready [[yet]] so I wore this with no intentions on taking off my tank, and even though I was not ready for the bikini I was leaving my house feeling pretty confident

I had no intentions on removing my black tank top but after waiting on line for about an hour to get into the water park I GOT HOTTTT and quite frankly I didn't care how I look I knew inside of me that I am working to get there so I just took the blank top off to hot to feel insecure and LET ME TELL YOU I FELT SO FREE SO SO SO BEAUTIFUL, SO CONFIDENT!

Yes, I still have a long way go but COMPARE TO the other pictures, SHIT I GOT A REASON TO CELEBRATE.... My Little Big brother...gave me the WHAT ARE YOU WEARING LOOK, PUT SOME CLOTHES ON LOOK!!! Than he said "You looking kinda skinny" I couldn't help but to cheese....I was looking for the one person to make me feel like I shouldn't be wearing that and GUESS WHAT I DIDN'T get that. In fact I got a few compliments which really made my day!!!! I was sitting looking at every girl that walked by trying to find the perfect body that maybe I would want to mimic and it CLICKED....No one will ever have that Kim K body or Amber Rose or Beyonce.....Celebrities have money and money buys it all especially a person with good Photoshop skills (jejejeje) every girl in the park had some type of flaw, no one had that "perfect body" yet they were all beautiful. Some had big bootys but no boobs, big boobs but a square bottom, a big tummy skinny legs, big legs no tummy, etc etc etc...It clicked to me there is always going to be a flaw and beauty will be how YOU PERCIEVE IT TO BE!

I am ready for a month to be able to show off that bottom part =]

Skinny girl is dying to come out and soon she will be here...I don't think the world is ready!!!!

  1. Okay... you have your basal metabolic rate (BMR) which is what you would burn if you laid in bed all day. So all activity aside, THIS is what you burn everyday. MFP has already figured out how much you need to eat to lose weight. BMR - Daily calorie goal = #. This # is multiplied 7 times to get however many calories per week your body is supposed to get rid of, aka fat. 3500 calories equals one pound. So if your BRM is 1800 and you eat 1200 per day, that's a 600 calorie deficit per day times 7 which would be 4200... which translates to 1.2 lbs. So... since that's already figured out for you, when you exercise, you're supposed to eat those calories back, right? So your deficit isn't too big that you don't lose weight (believe me, it happened to me). Because of this, I subtract the calories I would normally burn WITHOUT exercise from my exercise calories.

SO! (sorry, a lot of math - it took me awhile to get it 'cause I hate math but now that I got it... it makes sense!) Divide your BMR by 24. Say, 1800 divided by 24 would be 75. This is how much you burn per hour (without activity). Divide 75 by 60 to get how much you burn per minute, which would be 1.25. Then however long you exercised, multiply 1.25 by it. So, if you exercised 30 minutes, you would want to subtract 37.5 (1.25 x 30) from however many calories you burned.

Hopefully this made sense. If not, ask RJadams! lol
